Product Overview

Insulating materials used in devices such as oil-immersed transformers (e.g., insulating oil, paper, pressboard, and tape) decompose due to the heat generated by transformer overload or faults, producing hydrogen (H2) and hydrocarbon gases in the process. IS-PDS-GM2 is a device that monitors and analyzes the degradation of transformer insulating oil, measuring and monitoring hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO), and moisture in real-time, online. This enables early detection of internal degradation and insulation issues, helping to prevent major accidents and ensuring optimal transformer operation. Particularly, when installed in existing or aging transformers showing potential problems or signs of degradation, the IS-PDS-GM2 accurately monitors early abnormal conditions in real-time, improving transformer operation and extending its service life.
