In oil-immersed transformers using insulating materials such as insulating oil, insulating paper, and pressboard, manufacturing defects or aging degradation of the insulating materials can lead to initial partial discharges due to weakened dielectric strength. These partial discharges can further weaken the dielectric strength over time, potentially causing unexpected major accidents. The IS-PDS-DV500 is a drain valve-inserted sensor with excellent measurement sensitivity and external noise reduction performance. It can measure internal partial discharges of transformers by connecting to a system that detects insulation degradation in advance.
